To Friends and Family

Since my last update on Tegan I have found out a lot on Chiari 1 Malformation. For those of you who would like to start finding out more about this condition I would encourage you to take a look at Lacie's blog. On her side bar she has a lot of information about Chiari.
Please pray for Lacie that God will continue to heal her body as she is mending from surgery. Thank you Lacie for answering all my questions and being here for me as an Internet friend.
God is doing great things through you!
God Bless!!

Another Tegan Update

We had a doctors appt. Friday. We found out Tegan's MRI results. It shows that Tegan has Chiari 1 Malformation. It means that Tegan's cerebellam is not formed right. We will be talking with the Nuroligist at Riley in Oct. I am to call and see if we can't get an cancelled appt. So we can see the Nuroligist sooner. I will have more to report after that appt.
Thanks for all the prayers!!!

The Twilight Zone

Yesterday, I had my Chiropractor's appt. I went to the new Dr. I was referred to. I have been going to the Chiropractor for over a year now for my neck. I usually spend 15 min. no more than 30min in the office. I usually go every 4-6 weeks to get adjusted. So I went into this appt. thinking no different. I was wrong!!

I had entered.....THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!!

The receptionist didn't have me scheduled. I offered to come back at a later time. I should have insisted! I sat down and noticed I had entered into an office that looked like I had stepped into the 50's. The waiting area even had elevator music playing. It was very busy, as I had taken a later appt. so that Ronn could watch the kids.

While there I had to have a physical and had to put on a hospital type top, had the weirdest adjustment in my life and had an ultra sound (not your typical ultra sound, it was a therapy they do) done on my neck. After all that the technician said I'll see you tomorrow. All I can say is that 2 hours later I had finally left the Twilight Zone.

No, I did not go back the next day. I also plan to cancel my next appt. and drive to my old Chiropractor.

City Life to Country Life

Today we started to clean out one of the stalls in the barn. We are trying to get the barn ready so that we can have some animals. It also helps me to keep the kids busy.

I remember Tiffany just a month ago in a skirt and cute top riding the gator. She is my city girl. Tiffany is my screamer at bugs too.

Country life has already started to agree with her. She is starting to like wearing her jeans with holes in them. Most importantly she has stopped screaming at bugs. I have not conqured that one yet. (dumb horse flys):)

We had fun taking pictures of us working and cleaning out the stall. Tiffany requested the I put a slide show of them on the blog.

Highlites: We all have new work boots and love them! You'll see dirty cat wranglers, dog lovers and cowboy attitudes. Yes, the kids took baths right away.:)

Enjoy!

Tegan's Update

Tegan's Dr. called from Riley today. The MRI did show that his cerebellum is 1/2 " to low in his skull. This is effecting his swallowing. We are now going to see the Neurologist. They will call me with the time and date later this week. We are hoping that this is not bad enough to have surgery. Please be praying with us for Tegan.

Tegan's MRI

Friday, Aug. 8th Tegan had an MRI done. We don't have the results back, but will let you know in the future what happens. Please be praying for Tegan that he will not have to have surgery.
He did a great job at the hospital!

Tired of waiting! He woke up and handled everything okay and the sensors and IV came off right away. He picked out bubbles as his prize and couldn't be happier.:) He then slept a lot all day, giving mommy a break.

We love you Tegan!!

Mega Sports Camp

The kids really enjoyed being a part of Mega Sports Camp at Farmland Friends Church. We had the best coaches and staff!! Tristan played soccer and learned a lot from his coach.

Tiffany picked Cheerleading and loved it!!

Tegan and I helped in the nursery. Meet a lot of great people! Here are some pictures of Sports Camp!

Our childrens pastor did an awesome job. We as a community are lucky to have her and her husband at our church. Great Job Tonya!!

Aug. 5th 1995

Sat., Aug. 5th 1995 @ 2:30pm Ronn and Yvette were married. In a little town called Farmland, IN and of all places in a Friends church.:) It's hard to believe that 13 years have gone by.

Happy Anniversary Ronn!!

I now am going on a diet! I was so hard on myself back then, now I wish I looked like that.:)

This is one of my favorite pictures. I remember it had just started raining outside so we had to take the picture on the front porch. Things remembered... Bill walking Trista down the isle, it was precious! The photographer ticking everyone off! She also didn't allow anyone to take pictures too. Girls wanted my Man!! We had a girl who cried (sobbed) as she said good-bye to him. It was sad! He's quite the charmer!

Family Luau

Today we had family and friends over for a Luau. Our inspiration was from others doing family night. We tried an evening get together only with our busy schedules a Sat. lunch worked best for all of us.
We started early making the kabobs and getting the decorations set up. I took a lot of pictures! It was very hard to choose just a few. I am sitting out side of Reflections a hair salon in Parker City just to get on the net. So I hope you all enjoy looking at our Luau pic's. God Bless!
