Belize

We stayed at the Coningsby Inn, this is where teams stay when they come for mission work.
This is a little town called 8 mile, this is the town we are helping.

We are trying to get a team together in Feb or March to put a roof and porch on this house. If you would like to go and help call me and we can get you signed up to go on this team.:)

A few of my favorite things, Altun Ha, Mayan ruins. We had such a fun day here. First was the good food! Had the best grilled chicken and the BBQ sauce was awesome.

Another memorable moment is Jon trying to get a Tarantula to come out of it's hole. Luckily, it's to bright for them. Bill got one to come out, but it shot right back into it's hole. CREEPY! Can you imagine at night?? It has got to be crawling with tons of spiders, we saw lots of holes.

Loved this!! I am holding a baby croc. YEEEE! Yes, on top of one of the temples.

Then it got even better, I was holding a baby Ant Eater. He kept tickling my neck. I could have stayed up here all day.:)

On Monday we went out to this Island, Caye Caulker. We all loved it here too.
A slice of paradise. Good news is we have all the permits we need and are able to become a full time mission organization here. God is good!

Christmas 2009

Christmas morning was memorable, we awoke to no electricity. So we lit 50 tea lights and armed ourselves with flashlights.
Tiffany was over joyed with her American Girl Doll, she had been asking for her for over 6 months.

Tristan was pleased with his Game Stop gift card.

Tegan loved his Geo Trax Airplane.
We had a great Christmas morning.

In the evening we spent time with our cousins at Grandma's house.

Tegan's 3rd Birthday!

Tegan's 3!!! Group pictures are the hardest! Especially when the B-day boy doesn't want his picture taken.

We had a great Birthday day!

Christmas With My Girlfriends

Our Christmas get together with my girlfriends was a lot of fun! I love that we all enjoy reading, we love our kids, and we love chating about everything.

The kids loved playing together and working on there gingerbread houses. The kids took this on as a competitive adventure, boys vs girls...
They don't look to competitive here do they... maybe it was just the girls... I don't remember anymore how that played out. I just remember in the end the kids devouring this sweet treat!

Grandma's New Reading Glasses

Tiffany is my creative girl. She made these glasses out of pipe cleaners. Tiffany looks so cute in them. I wanted her to show Grandma, only Grandma became impatient so she put them on. I had to grab the camera.
As you can see Tiffany wasn't to happy that Grandma had her glasses on. A few seconds later though the glasses became Grandma's early Christmas gift to Grandma. Grandma's comment a little later "I can see better!" I looked at her puzzled, she said it so convincing. My reply "really?" She looked at me and gave me a look and said "No" silently. Once again we had to laugh out loud.

Life Is Good!

Catching up from the last post, we had the CSI retreat first of November in Merritt Island, Florida. Georgianna United Methodist hosted the retreat. They did a fantastic job of hosting all of us. I can't say enough good things about these wonderful people.
We had great fellowship and fun playing. Here are some of the CSI kids giving us a concert.
After the retreat we took some vacation time and had a great time at Disney.
Took in some mini golf.
We love the water!
We stayed at my favorite place again. Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom. Here is one of our last pictures right before we left.

Disney put us into the Christmas spirit. We got the Christmas tree up and had the help of friends.
We also had one of the best Thanksgiving's, I will remember this as one of my favorites. Topped off with Mom crying and not being able to make it through what she was thankful for. Mom did all the cooking and did great!

I think we are all caught up. Well sorta.:)
